Meet the LaBelle Chiropractic Center Team

Dr. Charles Kenya

In August 2001, my wife Amilliah and I arrived in Iowa for a mission trip.  My wife was struggling with chronic back pain that had sent her to the hospital several times.  We had tried several treatments, including, among others, Physical Therapy, in vain.  Our host family who had their spines checked by their chiropractor every two weeks invited us to see their chiropractor.  We had never heard of Chiropractic.  We were very skeptical as we entered the chiropractor’s office.  However, not only was my wife’s back problem resolved once and for all, but also along with it came a wonderful package of good health.  I experienced tremendous health.  Allergies and other chronic health problems, I had not mentioned to the chiropractor “disappeared” along the way under chiropractic care. We went back to Kenya where we had been High School teachers for twelve years.  Soon afterward, we moved to the United States to study Chiropractic at Sherman Chiropractic College.  My family has benefited greatly from chiropractic care.  Our son Daniel, who had scoliosis, now enjoys active and vibrant health, our daughter Hope, who used to have frequent asthmatic attacks, now enjoys good health even during the winter, and our youngest son Harry enjoys full health under chiropractic care. Elizabeth

Elizabeth has worked for Dr. LaBelle six years and he continues to let her come back everyday! Elizabeth is married to her husband Eddie, they have just celebrated their 30th Anniversary. They have a son Matthew and daughter-in-law Delecta. Elizabeth’s hobbies include scrap booking, stamping, and singing in a small Southern Gospel Group.

Laura

Laura has worked in the chiropractic field for over four years. She and her husband Tony have been married three years. She is the proud owner of a two year old Yorkshire Terrier named Emma. Laura enjoys spending time with friends and family. She feels very blessed to be a part of the LaBelle Chiropractic Family.

Valerie

Valerie has recently joined Dr. LaBelle's staff as the Financial Manager. She lives in Taylors with her husband Steve. They have been married for eleven wonderful years. They have been blessed with four boys, Justyn (16), Tyler (9), Dylan (5) and Riley (4). She loves to spend time with her family, watch football, go camping, and arrange flowers. She considers it a privilege to work with Dr. LaBelle and be part of his team. Thank you for trusting us to care for you and your family.

Kim

My Family and I have been patients and friends of Dr. LaBelle for almost 15 years. My husband, Mike, introduced me to chiropractics when we were married almost 19 years ago. We have 3 children, Ben 16, Sara 12, and Eric 11. We are proud to say the only time any of them have had antibiotics is when the boys had to have bones reset under anesthesia.

We contribute their good health to Dr. LaBelle and my knowledge of natural health. I have a degree in Naturopathy, which is the study of vitamins, herbs, and foods to help the body heal itself. My children started Kempo Karate at young ages. Rather than sit on the side line and watch, I decided to join them. Six years later, by age 38, I had earned the rank of 2nd degree Black Belt in American Kempo Karate. I love the martial arts and was an instructor for 4 years.

However, a challenge much greater than earning that rank in karate manifested that same year, Breast Cancer. Next to my children, I am most proud to say "I am a survivor." Due to the type of cancer I had, I was in treatment for 14 months. January 30, 2008 was my last treatment. I believe I have made remarkable progress due to my indomitable spirit, perseverance, knowledge of nutrition and by keeping my spine in great working condition. My family and I are grateful for the love, friendship and support we have received from Dr. LaBelle and the LaBelle Chiropractic family. I am thankful to now be a part of such an inspiring team.
